Whewwwww!

So after sitting here the better part of a day and downloading pictures I have decided I REALLY need to keep up with this blog. I love writing on here and its a great way to post updated pictures, but I really need to be better about doing it more often. So thank you to everyone who keeps checking back to see if I have updated and I promise I will be better about posting! So to leave you here is a bunch of really random pictures.....

Brayden's first taste of an avocado: it goes in......

it comes out.....

I remember Kaitlyn being as cute as ever, but Brayden makes some of the funniest faces for a little baby. He has discovered his 4 top teeth and is feeling them out I'm sure, but he makes this face that is adorable....we call it his old man face.

Here is my small group which are some of my best friends!

Watching the Bama game with Daddy.......

So I mentioned in an earlier blog about how Brayden loves to play with his sisters play food, well apparently he has become attached to the corn. He will crawl all the way into her room find the right bucket and dig until this is what he comes out with. We have also found that when he is tired it has become a sort of lovey for him. Go figure....Kaitlyn it was a cute pink "blankie" Brayden it is corn!
Some of the hair bows I made for Kaitlyn......
This is what happens when Kaitlyn plays dress up with Brayden (he will probably kill me one day for putting this on the Internet)
Playing with Daddy (notice the corn?)

Lil bro/Big sis

I got some of the cutest shirts for the kids and could not wait to take there pictures together in them. I am definitely not a photographer and now with Brayden crawling I could not keep him in one spot long enough to get Kaitlyn to smile, so there is a cute one of Bray and a cute one of Kate, but there was not too many to choose from of them together.

Thank you Grandma!

Thank you grandma! For one of Kay's Christmas presents she got us tickets to see Disney on Ice when they came to Charleston...we had a blast of course Kaitlyn's two favorites were Ariel and Tinkerbell.

Another fun event that came to Charleston was the Coastal Carolina fair. So we went....of course we had to eat a funnel cake! It was a first for Kate and she enjoyed every bite. Another first for Kaitlyn was carving a pumpkin she was all about getting the goo out of the pumpkin.

Dance, Dance, Dance

Kaitlyn has finally started dance, actually we have been going for a couple of months now. Originally we were going to start her on base, but they just keep giving us the run around about when they were going to start so we decided to just enroll here in a dance academy off base and I am so glad we did. She loves it! For the most part they practice in a room that doesn't have an observation window, but one of the very first weeks they practiced in the room that does so the pictures here are from when she first started. They were also taken through a glass window and so you can see our reflection, sorry for the poor quality. The last two pictures are when I caught her dancing in the kitchen one night after class, it was too cute!! As most of y'all know my little girl is some what of a tom boy...this is the child who the other day when she was playing in the back yard tapped on the glass door and said "Mommy come look" With it being rather cold that day I went mainly to make sure she still had her coat and hood on. To my surprise she held up a frog! And not just any frog....a frozen frog and was tapping it on the glass saying "look Mommy its so cute!" So for her to be so girly in her little leotard just warms my heart. I also have to say that I am very lucky to have a girl who can be girly and then in turn be a little frog playing tom boy, wrap that up with being fearless and it makes for a lot of fun!!

The Girls

October for us also brought family!! I was so excited that my Mom, Granny and Aunt Willie came to visit us!! We had so much fun and I am so very blessed to have such a wonderful family. It meant so much to me that "the girls" drove for two days straight to come see us especially the way gas prices are right now. I love y'all so much!!! One of the things we did while they were here was go to the Boone Hall Plantation. They were having a pumpkin patch and we were able to take some pictures of the kids.
