Family pictures

I have a good friend who took some pictures for us. She is absolutely amazing! I had my heart sat on pictures at the beach during a beautiful sunset and had been planning them for months, but when the time came we had everything against us that day. The weather looked miserable like it could start raining any second, both kids had come down with colds the night before and then to top it off not 5 minutes of starting the shoot Kaitlyn fell head first into a "puddle" of water and went completely under! She was soaked from head to toe and cold and tired, but some how Jaime pulled out some really really good pictures!! And we will always have the memory of that day. Thanks Jaime!!

And here are a few she took of the kids one day when we all met at the park. No smiles from the kids, I think it was too early in the morning. :) She does a really really good job you should go check out her other work at jkeslerphotography.blogspot.com

Where does time go?!?

Here are some recent pictures of the kids. Man they are growing way to fast!!
Bray loves books

Here are his two teeth! He will be crawling any day now!One of Brayden's favorite things to do is when he is done with his bath and I am finishing getting Kaitlyn ready for bed I will set him in her room and let him play in her bucket that has her play food and he is so content. It is so funny he will pull every one out and "talk " to it.

We took Kaitlyn to see the Elmo live show and she loved it! Her friends Gabe and Paige were also there.

Some pics I took of Kay Kaitlyn playing with her side walk chalk

Things that make me smile :)

Here are 5 things that have made me smile lately and hopefully they will put a smile on your face too!
1. Fall and everything about fall! I love the some what cooler weather, the rain, the fall festivals and the colors of fall! What a good time of the year!

2. The way Brayden screams when Kaitlyn takes a toy away from him in the tub. You go Brayden stand up for yourself! LOL

3. Kaitlyn's imagination! She is at such a fun age and she has an imagination that can go crazy. She is just such a fun child, I love to sit and watch her play. Thanks Kate for making me laugh!

4. As most of you know I am teaching at Kaitlyn's preschool. And I have the one year old class so as far as communication goes between me and my kiddos is usually something like mama, ball, no no. But one of the little boys we watch has learned my name and it just makes my heart melt! So he has made my 5 things list for saying so excitedly "Ms Prandi!!" every time he sees me. :)
5. Kevin. There are so many things about him that makes me smile, but one in particular is when he leaves to go to work in the afternoon he always locks the door. It is not something that he usually does if we are all home during the afternoon, but when he leaves me and the kids he always locks the door. Thank you Kevin for always protecting us! I love you so much!

A few thoughts...

It is pretty early here this morning as I am writing this, but I just had to put this down to help ease my mind. I have really had the state of our country laid heavily on my heart for some time now. I don't think it is just because Kevin's career and our life as we have know it for the last 7 1/2 years might be on the line if Obama gets elected, but more that it feels like evil is winning. I try not to even watch the news any more, because it is so depressing! I really don't think that Obama can make the ice caps reform, have world peace with no war and balance the budget all without raising taxes AND most importantly without God on his side!! What scares me the most is our country is so hungry right now for something better, something we should believe in and trust and Satan knows this. Satan is here to steal, kill and destroy! This is the time when we as Christians need to stand firm and trust in the Lord. I was reminded this weekend that God has not given up and neither should we. I have to continually remind myself that God has a plan and he will see it through until the day of completion. As I got up this morning to begin writing this I was looking for one particular verse that I have in my mind, but cant seem to find the exact address (I am horrible with memorization) and was overwhelmed by the number of verses and scripture that the Lord has spoke to us about this very issue. Here is a few that I strongly suggest going to read, they really spoke to me.

Psalm 27: 1-3
Proverbs 10: 29 &30
Isaiah 41:10
**Hosea 4:1-6 **we MUST know the the word of the Lord....we need to arm ourselves!

And this last one I thought I would actually write out, it is one of those verses that I have stored away in my heart and I think of it so often and it is definitely fitting in the situation.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek with all your heart." Jeremiah 29:11-13

So to finish this up I just ask you to please help me pray! Pray for our country and pray for our leaders whom ever they shall be!

Love y'all ~ Randi
