Bring on the Rain!

Sorry to bombard you with pictures, we just had a really good weekend. It all started when Kevin had the day off on Friday so we spent a family day together. Granny sent Kaitlyn some "walking around" money so we let her decide want she wanted to spend her money on. She wanted to go to the House of Bounce, so we went and had a lot of laughs. Kaitlyn completely wore herself out and I think Kevin and I really did too!

Then there was Saturday morning cartoons. Seeing Kaitlyn and Brayden interacting together just warms my heart, especially since it took a while for Kaitlyn to come around in the beginning. Now you would not believe what a good Big Sis she is, he is the first person she asks for in the morning and the other day she threw the biggest fit when she found out he wasnt going to the store with us. We'll see if it lasts when theyre 10 and 13, but for now I am enjoying every minute!

Thanks to tropical storm Fay we had lots of rain this weekend, so the rest of the weekend was just spent doing puzzles and watching movies. Overall, we had a really good time and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family!! If we have this much fun together being stuck inside all weekend, then let the rain keep coming :)

Same Baby?

Okay, so I know that Kaitlyn is a girl and Brayden is a boy.....one was born in 2005 the other 2008.......one very out going the other very laid back, but they look exactly the same!

Settling down and Setting up

Well, we are almost there. We have been in our new house now for about a month and have just about gotten everything together. Now we are ready for some company :)! Here are a few pictures of the inside of the house. I think Kaitlyn just about made it into every picture.

Trying things out

Okay, so here is the deal, I am not a good writer and I'm pretty sure I am not ANY good at correct grammar and spelling, but if you will look past all of that I have a few thoughts. Most will just be random stories and happenings of the day and some will have meaning, but I will try to keep it pretty updated. I thought a blog would be better than the website (though I will also keep that one) because I can actually write cute little stories as they happen and this will also allow me to add more pictures. Okay, so the truth is that I just fell into the "everybody is doing it" peer pressure. :) But that is okay with our family being so spread out I thought this would be perfect!
